WRONG PLACE WRONG TIME
I've been so tired lately! It's nice to be able to sleep in my own bed now instead of the one at the hospital. For a while it seemed like I was never going to get out of there! Now it's back to home life but the battle still isn't entirely over. While I was recovering my family took on the task of securing a personal injury attorney. Now that I'm feeling much better I can speak on my own behalf in court. The doctors didn't expect me to recover as quickly or as well as I did. Once the legal matters are settled we'll finally get a chance to return to some sense of normalcy. I just picked a really bad night to go driving. It was one of those moments where you just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. I had just dropped off my boyfriend and someone slammed into my car at the rear. They hadn't noticed that the light changed and everyone else had come to a full stop. I don't remember too much about what happened after that point but there was no shortage of witnesses who managed to give the police a good account. I think what I remember the best, if anything, is just the pain I felt when I started opening my eyes again. Let me tell you, it was something to be driving one minute and find yourself in the hospital the next!
