THE CONVENIENCE OF TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT

Elsie had worked at her last position for twenty years. She was one of the last employees to leave when the boss retired and closed shop. At first, she loved staying home and having the freedom to come and go as she pleased, but now was getting bored with it. She wasn’t sure just what kind of job she would look for but wanted to make sure whatever it was it had to have a lot of variety to it. She didn’t want to end up doing the same thing over and over again every single day. One day when she was doing some gardening, she mentioned her situation to her neighbor, Marge. Marge told her she uses a temporary employment agency. They work around her schedule. If she wants a temporary job for months at a time, they can accommodate her. If she wants shorter-term jobs, they can do that too If you put in enough hours they even offer you insurance. She loves it because it does give her some control of her schedule. Elsie thought that using a temporary employment agency would be the perfect way for her to go. She certainly would get the variety she wished for.
